ABOUT GRASS 2025
GRASS (Georgia Resident Assistant Saturday Seminar) brings together Resident Assistants (RAs) from colleges and universities across the state to engage in networking opportunities, professional development conversations, and ultimately learn how to enhance and improve the on-campus experience for residential students across the State of Georgia. This one-day, drive-in conference, creates a unique experience for student leaders to connect and learn with peers from other institutions and take their gained knowledge back to implement within their residential communities.
What to Expect at GRASS
Diverse Sessions: GRASS will feature a variety of program sessions including presentations, interactive programming, and our keynote speaker. Program sessions will cover a wide range from community building to professional development presented by RAs and professional staff from across the state (and maybe even you!). Attendees will be able to select sessions that align with their interests, goals, and desired experience!

Networking Opportunities: One of the highlights of GRASS is the chance to connect with peers and mentors from different institutions. This networking fosters collaboration, idea exchange, and relationships that can be beneficial throughout your career as an RA and beyond.

Interactive Sessions: Beyond the traditional program session, GRASS will include opportunities for attendees to engage in interactive sessions such as roundtable discussions and event and programming showcases. These sessions are designed to enhance your experience through active learning with other attendees.

Professional Development: GRASS offers resources, tools, and strategies that can be applied to improve your effectiveness as a housing professional.

Collaborative Environment: The atmosphere at the GRASS conference is collaborative and supportive. Attendees are encouraged to share their successes, challenges, and innovative ideas to foster a sense of community among RAs across Georgia.
